Welcome to the GetDeb Team
This Wiki main purpose is to provide you some insight on the GetDeb team works and how you can get involved into it.
Who are we
A volunteer group of individuals devoting our spare time to provide an easy way to get updates as well as additional software for Ubuntu. We are not sponsored, endorsed or associated in any way with Canonical.
What we do
- Build and distribute updates for some of the software offered in Ubuntu, along with new software packages not yet available from the official repositories;
- Develop the custom content management engine used to publish the packages by www.getdeb.net;
Develop the Automated Build System used to build the packages from source;
Maintain the GetDeb infrastructure.
Develop the apt-portal content management system that is used for playdeb
